This week, zinc downstream consumption showed mixed performance. The production of galvanizing and zinc oxide declined as the weather gradually turned colder, the year-end approached, and some end-user orders entered the off-season, coupled with enterprise holidays, leading to a decrease in the operating rate. In contrast, the production of die-casting zinc alloy increased this week, driven by the completion of equipment maintenance at some major factories and the resumption of production at certain enterprises, resulting in an upward trend in the operating rate.
